English2College offers a simple format that does not require any additional software. Anyone with an internet connection can work through the TestDen materials at their own pace. The TestDen training materials are available for 6 months! We suggest that 2 months be allowed for completion of the intensive E2C program.
We offer advanced tutoring support for the excellent materials provided by TestDen. Our program includes 24-hour email replies to all students' questions about the TestDen materials, as well as Skype tutoring and an 8-week essay writing program that is specifically intended for students practicing for the TOEFL and IELTS exams.
Here is how the writing tutoring section of our program works:
We offer advanced tutoring support for the excellent materials provided by TestDen. Our program includes 24-hour email replies to all students' questions about the TestDen materials, as well as Skype tutoring and an 8-week essay writing program that is specifically intended for students practicing for the TOEFL and IELTS exams.
Here is how the writing tutoring section of our program works:
- Students are provided with an essay topic.
- A .doc format practice essay is then written and sent as an email attachment.
- The writing instructor will review the essay and provide feedback and comments that will point out every error in the text, in addition to alternative usages, recommendations, etc.
- After reviewing the instructor's comments, the student then [optionally] re-writes and resubmits the essay with the revisions.
- The instructor reviews the second version of the essay and provides any additional suggestions as needed.
- During the 8-week course there are 14 essays + a final essay. That is a lot of opportunity to practice and to improve -- especially if you are receiving useful feedback.
- Upon completion of the English2China/TestDen program students can expect to feel much more confident about obtaining a high score on the TOEFL or IELTS exam.
